ESPACIO DE DETENCIÓN (2024)​​

Dentro del mar Mediterráneo, coloco mi cuerpo en la posición de subyugación física que la policía impone a las personas cuando son detenidas y registradas por la fuerza. El cuerpo es situado de cara al mar, como si este fuera un muro.

El Mediterráneo es una de las rutas migratorias donde más personas desaparecen y mueren intentando llegar a territorio europeo. Tanto en el mar como en tierra firme, muchas personas son interceptadas y sometidas a procesos de detención extremadamente violentos y de deportación, basados en la estructura racista y xenófoba del poder.

​Within the Mediterranean Sea, I place my body in the position of physical subjugation that the police impose on people when they are forcibly detained and searched. The body is positioned facing the sea, as if it were a wall.

The Mediterranean is one of the migratory routes where the highest number of people disappear and die while attempting to reach European territory. Both at sea and on land, many people are intercepted and subjected to extremely violent detention and deportation processes, grounded in a racist and xenophobic structure of power.
