CON LA SANGRE EN LA CABEZA (2025)​

 

​Acción de colgarme buscando invertir mi cuerpo para que la sangre llegue a mi cabeza. Manteniendo esa posición, sostengo en mis manos réplicas profesionales de alta fidelidad de modelos de dos pistolas específicas: La Beretta 92 y la Luger P08. La Beretta 92 es un arma de servicio que fue y es ampliamente usada por fuerzas militares y policiales en todo el mundo, con protagonismo en las Fuerzas Armadas de Estados Unidos, la Guardia Civil Española, la Gendarmería Francesa, el Ejército de Chile, las Fuerzas Especiales del Ejército Peruano y Colombiano, la Armada de Brasil, Fuerzas Especiales de Canadá, entre otros. La Luger P08 es una de las pistolas que más fuertemente se asocia al nazismo. La pieza plantea el hecho físico/corporal de tener la sangre en la cabeza, como metáfora de quienes históricamente utilizan y han utilizado estos modelos de armas: Estados con sus policías y ejércitos asesinos.

​An action of hanging myself, seeking to invert my body so that blood flows to my head.
While maintaining this position, I hold in my hands professional, high‑fidelity replicas of two specific pistol models: the Beretta 92 and the Luger P08. The Beretta 92 is a service weapon that has been and continues to be widely used by military and police forces around the world, prominently by the United States Armed Forces, the Spanish Civil Guard, the French Gendarmerie, the Chilean Army, the Special Forces of the Peruvian and Colombian Armies, the Brazilian Navy, Canadian Special Forces, among others. The Luger P08 is one of the pistols most strongly associated with Nazism. The piece proposes the physical/bodily fact of having blood in the head as a metaphor for those who historically use and have used these weapon models: states with their murderous police forces and armies.
